Cookie Notice
Last updated: October 2026.
1. The short version
VoucherStub uses one strictly-necessary local-storage entry to remember your cookie-banner choice. We do not run analytics cookies, advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels. When you click a tracked "Get Code" link, the destination marketplace writes its own affiliate attribution cookie on their own domain — we have no access to that cookie and no way to read it.
2. Strictly necessary — set by us
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| vs_cookie_v1 | LocalStorage | Remember whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner. | Until you clear local storage. |
These entries are set regardless of consent choice because without them the banner would reappear on every page view.
3. Third-party affiliate attribution
When you click Get Code on a card and are redirected to StubHub, Vividseats or SeatGeek, the destination marketplace's affiliate network (typically Impact Radius, CJ Affiliate or Partnerize) writes a first-party cookie on the destination domain containing an opaque publisher identifier that credits VoucherStub for the referral. This cookie:
- Is set on the destination domain, not voucherstub.com.
- Contains an opaque publisher ID, not personal data about you.
- Is subject to the destination platform's own cookie notice.
- Expires after the window set by the affiliate programme, typically 7 to 30 days.
You can decline this attribution by not clicking any "Get Code" button. Nothing on VoucherStub itself requires this attribution.
4. What we do not set
- No Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel.
- No cross-site tracking cookies.
- No browser fingerprinting scripts.
- No session replay (Hotjar, FullStory, Mouseflow etc).
5. Managing your choices
Decline essential storage by clicking Decline on the cookie banner — this clears the storage entry but will show the banner again on your next visit. Clear existing entries from your browser's privacy settings. The affiliate attribution cookie is cleared from the destination marketplace's own cookie settings page.
