Code Guarantee Terms
Last updated: October 2026.
What the guarantee is
Every promo code we publish on VoucherStub has been tested by the editor on duty at checkout on the destination marketplace within the previous seven days. If a published code fails for a reader at the destination platform's checkout, the Code Guarantee gives you a path to flag it, a prompt re-test, and a goodwill credit when the failure is confirmed on our side.
What is covered
- Codes marked Verified on the card at the time you clicked.
- Codes used within the stated expiry date and against a basket that meets the stated terms (minimum order, category, new-customer-only if applicable).
- Codes used on the US storefront of the destination platform the card linked to.
What is not covered
- Codes used outside their stated terms (wrong category, below minimum, existing customer trying a new-customer-only code).
- Codes used on an international storefront of the destination platform.
- Codes used after the stated expiry date, even if the card was still visible when you clicked (we aim to remove expired codes within 24 hours of expiry, but there is a window).
- Deals that do not require a code (automatic discounts) — these depend on the marketplace's own merchandising and are outside our control.
How to claim
- Email [email protected] within 14 days of the failed checkout.
- Include the store name, the exact code string and a short description of the basket you tried to apply it to.
- The editor on duty re-tests on the same business day. If the code is confirmed broken, we remove it and reply with confirmation.
- Where confirmed, we send a USD 5 Vividseats credit by email as a goodwill gesture for the time you lost. One credit per reader per calendar month.
What the credit is not
The USD 5 Vividseats credit is a goodwill gesture, not an indemnity for consequential loss. It is not a refund of any part of a transaction you completed on the destination marketplace, and it is not a replacement for the destination marketplace's own buyer-protection guarantee. If a ticket you bought is not delivered, that is a matter for the destination marketplace's purchase-protection programme.
Changes
Material changes to the Code Guarantee are posted here at least 15 days before they take effect. Prior versions are available on request.
