About Vividseats
Vividseats is a Chicago-headquartered secondary ticket marketplace, founded in 2001. The company runs a rewards-first commercial model: every purchased ticket earns a credit against future purchases, which the platform calls Vivid Rewards. For readers who buy tickets more than two or three times a year, Rewards often beats a one-off promo code — and in our testing the two can be stacked (code applied at subtotal, credit earned on gross).
Fee transparency improved notably in 2023 when Vividseats moved to all-in pricing by default on the US storefront. The displayed price now matches the pay-step price, which makes it a lot easier to compare their effective rates with StubHub and SeatGeek.
How to redeem a Vividseats promo code
- Click Get Code on the card for the offer.
- Continue to Vividseats in the new tab.
- Sign in to your account or open the Rewards sign-up if the offer is members-only.
- Add tickets to the cart. Promo applies at the review step before payment.
- If stacking with Rewards: the credit shows separately below the promo line.
FAQ
How do Vivid Rewards credits work with a promo code?
Credits are earned on the pre-promo subtotal. A $400 ticket with a 10% code yields a $360 purchase price but still earns the Rewards credit based on $400. In our tests this stacking has been consistent since the 2023 pricing overhaul.
Does Vividseats support international events?
Primarily US events, with a smaller catalogue in Canada and a handful of UK Premier League fixtures. Promo codes typically apply across the catalogue; event-specific restrictions are called out on the card.
What's the Code Guarantee?
Every code we publish passes our checkout test within the last 7 days. If a code fails on your side, email [email protected] — we re-test, remove the failing code and refund the time you lost (we send a $5 Vividseats credit, honestly). Detail in the Code Guarantee.
