Status

Where a VoucherStub editorial piece runs a competition — a skill-based or judged element distinct from the random giveaways covered under Giveaway Terms — these standing terms apply alongside any specifics published in that piece.

Nature of a competition

A competition involves a skill element: an answer, a written entry, a photographic submission, a short essay or similar. The winning entry is selected by an identified judge or panel on the basis of published criteria. This distinguishes a competition from a random drawing.

Eligibility

• Open to natural persons aged 18 or older at the time of entry.
• Open to residents of jurisdictions stated in the specific competition announcement, excluding any where the competition would be unlawful.
• One entry per person unless the competition announcement expressly allows more.

Judging

The judging panel is named in the competition announcement. The panel's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into about individual entries. Judges apply the published criteria in good faith; they do not disclose the reasons for individual non-selection.

Entry rights

By submitting an entry you grant VoucherStub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and publish the entry in the context of announcing the competition result and in subsequent editorial retrospectives, with attribution to you unless you ask for anonymity. The underlying copyright in your entry stays with you.

Prizes

Prize details and value are stated in the specific competition announcement. We do not offer cash alternatives. Delivery mechanics follow the prize type — physical goods by courier, event tickets through the destination marketplace's own delivery mechanism against the winner's account, digital prizes by email.

Taxes

Any tax liability on a prize is the winner's own responsibility.
